BILAL - THE GIPSY PRINCE
Bilal was born in 1983 from a gipsy clan, the “Doms”, that Gadjos (non-gypsies) call the “Nawar”.
As his family travels throughout the Middle East, grown up men play instruments and sing and women dance and tell good fortune. As for young boys, they work in shoeshine in large cities such as Damascus, Beirut and Istanbul.

CHEHADE BROTHERS
Palestinian virtuoso brothers who besides singing can
play all the oriental instruments. They represented Palestine
in dozen of festivals worldwide playing Palestinian traditional
music before recording their debut album "Café Méditerranée".
Their style can be described as " light popular tarab
" with Greek, Balkan and Turkish influences.

Y SON CUBANO
Hanihe y Son Cubano is a project of arabo-cuban fusion
by Michel Eleftériades, the musicians were specially gathered
in 1999 for this project, they are the best of their generation
in Cuba. Lead singer is Hanine, a charming powerful voice
that vehicles all the Arabic tarab tradition. Their first
eponymous album presents the biggest successes of Mohammad
Abdel Wahab, Abdel Halim Hafez, Farid el Atrache, Asmahane...
rearranged on Salsa, Son, Bolero, Cha Cha Cha…

LOULOUA
Louloua was born on June 21, 1991. As a child, she hated school and studies but adored listening to music and watching vintage Egyptian musicals. She could stand for hours in front of an old black and white TV, holding a broom as microphone, imitating her favorite singers. She used to tell her entourage that some day she would also become a renowned singer and started singing publicly in her family’s occasions.

Nahawand the great Arab Diva of the 50s is playing her
comeback at 80 years old. She is accompanied by José Galvez,
star of the "Cante Jondo".

and choreographies.

in full regalia that mingle with the public for a spectacular
world-melting carnival.

TINO FAVAZZA
Cateno (Tino) Favazza was born in 1958 in Gaggi, Sicily, a small village of the Valle Alkantara (Flowers Valley) near Taormina, a historical center of Sicilian music and world famous destination for tourism and archeology.
Maestro Tenor Enrico Facini, expert opera singer, has continuously and personally followed Tino’s artistic education since he was six years old. From childhood, Tino participated in many musical events (festivities, ceremonies, church concerts theatres, recordings, Sicilian television shows...), including several editions of the Sicilian Song Festival.
